FeedbackChimp offers flexibility in managing the visibility of your feedback boards to suit different needs. You can create Public and Private boards, as well as utilize additional settings to restrict access.

Configuring Different Board Privacy Options

You can configure the different board privacy options in FeedbackChimp by:
  • Navigate to Boards--> General for a specific feedback board.
  • Scroll down to the Board Visibility option.
  • Select how your board should be visible and to whom.

Public Boards

  • Visibility: Public boards are accessible to everyone and can be viewed and interacted with by any user.
  • Use Case: Ideal for gathering feedback from a wide audience, such as customers or the general public.

Private Boards

  • Visibility: Private boards are only available to users who have been given access via email.
  • Use Case: Suitable for internal feedback or feedback from a select group of users.

Password Restriction Option

  • Additional Security: Both Public and Private boards can be restricted with a password, ensuring that only people with the password can access the board.
  • Use Case: Adds an extra layer of control to who can view and participate in feedback.

Hiding the Feedback Portal

Hiding the feedback portal will make all feedback boards in the portal inaccessible to the public. Only admins and users with in-app access can view or interact with the boards.
This option is helpful when you want to completely restrict public visibility of the feedback content.
