If you need to temporarily make your Feedback Portal inaccessible, FeedbackChimp allows you to hide it with just a few steps. This option is useful when you’re making updates or don't want the portal to be publicly available.

How to Hide the Feedback Portal

To hide your Feedback Portal:
  1. Navigate to your FeedbackChimp dashboard.
  2. Click on Settings → Feedback.
  3. Enable the Hide Feedback Portal toggle to make the portal invisible to users.
  4. Click on the 'Save' button to apply the new settings.

Difference Between Hiding the Feedback Portal and Setting Boards to Private

  • Hiding the Feedback Portal: This action makes the entire portal inaccessible to the public. No users can view or access any feedback boards while the portal is hidden.
  • Setting Feedback Boards to Private: This option restricts access to specific boards within the portal. Private boards are still part of the Feedback Portal but can only be viewed by authorized users (e.g., team members or selected beta testers).
Hiding the portal is ideal for maintenance or updates, while private boards are for internal use or limited audience feedback.
