Creating posts in FeedbackChimp is a straightforward yet powerful way to gather, organize, and act on user feedback. Posts serve as a central place for users and team members to share ideas, report issues, or suggest improvements. Additionally, team members can use this feature to document feedback received through other channels, ensuring all insights are managed in one place.

How Team Members Can Create a Post

Follow these steps to create and publish a post in FeedbackChimp:
  1. From your dashboard, go to the Feedback tab.
  2. In the Feedback tab, click on the + New post button.
  3. A popup window will appear with options to customize the post:
    • Assign to Board: Choose the board where this post will be categorized.
    • Select a Category: Pick the category that best fits the post for better organization.
    • Title: Give the post a clear and descriptive title.
    • Content: Write the main content of the post in the provided text box.
    • Upload Images: If needed, click on the image icon below the text box to upload images.
  4. Once you’ve completed the post details, submit the post to make it available on the chosen board.

💡 This feature can be especially helpful if the feedback portal is set to private
or internal, enabling team members to add customer feedback manually.

How End Users Can Create a Post

If end users have access to a feedback board, they can create posts directly by visiting the board’s live URL.
  1. End users can access the board by navigating to its live URL.
  2. After going to the feedback board, end users can then:
    • Add a title and description to their post.
    • Upload images if relevant.
  3. Once completed, they can submit the post, which will be published based on board settings.

Note: End-users can delete a post they created as long as there are no comments and the post has no other votes.

Why Use Post Creation?

Creating posts allows team members and users to share and consolidate feedback in one organized space. If your feedback portal is private or internal, this feature enables team members to convert external feedback into posts. This centralized approach makes it easy to manage feedback, spot recurring issues or requests, and make data-informed product decisions.
