Custom Post Statuses in FeedbackChimp allow you to tailor the feedback management workflow to your specific needs. Follow the steps below to create and manage custom statuses for your feedback posts.

How to Create a Custom Post Status

  1. Navigate to Settings → Statuses.
  2. Click on the + New Status button
  3. Enter the Status Name.
  4. Click Save
Your custom status will be added to the list of available statuses.

How to Edit a Custom Status

  1. Go to Settings → Statuses from the dashboard.
  2. Find the custom status you wish to edit and click the Edit icon.
  3. Update the name, then click Save to apply changes.

How to Delete a Custom Status

  1. Navigate to the Statuses section in Settings.
  2. Locate the custom status you want to delete and click on the Delete icon.
  3. Confirm your decision, and the custom status will be removed from the list.

Note: If the custom status is currently in use, reassign any affected posts to a different status before deleting.

Tips for Managing Custom Statuses

  • Use Distinct Names to avoid confusion with existing statuses.
  • Choose Unique Colors to make custom statuses easily identifiable at a glance.
  • Review Visibility Settings regularly to ensure the correct audience sees each status.
