In FeedbackChimp, commenting is a helpful feature that enables users to engage with feedback directly. Users can post both internal comments and public comments on feedback boards, facilitating communication and collaboration. Below are details on how to use commenting effectively, including enabling or disabling comments.
Posting Comments (By Admin)
Users can post comments on feedback boards as either internal or public comments. Admins can do this by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the Feedback tab in the FeedbackChimp app.
- Click on the 'Edit' icon next to any feedback post to open it.
- In the comment section, type your comment in the text box provided.
Posting Public Comments
In the comment section, admins can toggle the Public option to enable public commenting. If this option is enabled, anyone can see and respond to your comment.
Posting Internal Comments
If the Public option is disabled, your comment will only be visible to admins and internal team members, ensuring privacy.
Posting Comments (By Customers Or End Users)
Customers or end users can also post comments on feedback boards that are accessible to them, if the admins have enabled the options for them to do so.
They can simply head over to your feedback board, and leave a comment on any of the posts as shown below.
Comment Moderation
Admins have the flexibility to enable or disable commenting in FeedbackChimp. You can do this by navigating to Boards--> General and then enabling the commenting options for every feedback board.
Enabling or Disabling Comments On Specific Posts
Admins have the option to control commenting on specific posts:
- Navigate to the Feedback tab and select the post you wish to manage.
- Look for the option to 'Disable Comments' on the post. Enabling this option will prevent users from leaving comments on that specific feedback post.
