The Changelog feature in FeedbackChimp makes it easy to share product updates with your users. Through this feature, you can keep everyone informed about new features, improvements, and bug fixes. FeedbackChimp's Changelog is designed to streamline the process of managing updates and engaging with your audience.
Overview:
FeedbackChimp’s Changelog feature comes with 3 main options that allows you to easily share product updates:
- Entries
- Labels
- Subscribers
In addition to the above, FeedbackChimp also lets you configure changelog settings so you can have full control over how you share product updates.
Creating Changelog Entries
To begin sharing product updates, you’ll need to create a new Changelog entry.
- Navigate to the “Changelog” tab on your dashboard.
- Select ‘Entries’.
- Click Create a new entry.
- Enter the necessary details like title, description, and category.
You can categorize your updates using Labels, which allow users to filter updates by type, such as new features, bug fixes, or improvements.
Once you're done, publish the entry to make it live. You can find detailed instructions on adding and managing Changelog entries in our documentation.
Managing Changelog Labels
For managing existing Changelog entries, you can easily edit them by clicking the “Edit” button next to the entry.
If you need to update the category of an entry or better organize updates, you can adjust the Labels. This helps you keep your Changelog organized and ensures users can filter updates based on their needs.
You can also add new labels as needed whenever you share product updates.
Managing Subscribers For Sharing Product Updates
One of the core functions of the Changelog feature is the ability to manage your Subscribers. Users who subscribe to your Changelog will receive updates directly, and you can manage these subscribers within your dashboard.
You can add subscribers to FeedbackChimp in 3 ways:
- Import subscribers using email address.
- Import subscribers using a CSV file.
- Import subscribers using API.

Configuring Changelog Settings
In addition to managing entries and subscribers, you can customize your Changelog settings.

- Here you can disable, the Changelog, update the button name, and more.
These settings give you control over how your Changelog is presented and how users interact with it. Learn about configuring changelog settings here.
With these features—Entries, Labels, and Subscribers—FeedbackChimp makes it simple to share product updates and manage how those updates are delivered to your user base.
