Integrating Google Analytics with FeedbackChimp allows you to gain deeper insights into how users interact with your Feedback Portal.
By connecting Google Analytics, you can track user activity, measure engagement, and identify opportunities to improve your feedback management experience. FeedbackChimp supports integration with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), requiring the GA4 tracking ID.

Steps to Get Your Google Analytics 4 Tracking ID

To connect FeedbackChimp with Google Analytics, you first need your GA4 tracking ID. Follow these steps to retrieve it:
  1. Go to Google Analytics and log in with your account credentials.
  2. In the Admin settings of your GA4 property, go to the Data Streams section under the Property column.

    💡 Tip: Click Add Stream if you don’t already have one set up for your FeedbackChimp Feedback Portal. Learn how to do it here.
  3. From the Data Stream, you’ll see the Measurement ID in the data stream details (e.g., G-XXXXXXXXXX).

  4. Copy this Measurement ID as it will be used to connect Google Analytics with FeedbackChimp.

Setting up the Google Analytics Integration in FeedbackChimp

  1. From your FeedbackChimp dashboard, navigate to Settings and select Integrations.
  2. Scroll down to the Analytics Tools section. Locate Google Analytics in the list of available integrations and click on it.
  3. On the Google Analytics integration page, paste your GA4 tracking ID (Measurement ID) into the designated field.

  4. Click Save to complete the integration. FeedbackChimp will now begin sending tracking data to your Google Analytics property.

How to Remove the Google Analytics Integration

If you need to disconnect Google Analytics from FeedbackChimp:
  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in FeedbackChimp.
  2. Find Google Analytics in the list of integrations.
  3. Click the Uninstall button to stop sending data to Google Analytics.
